The Swiss Advanced Manufacturing Community Events (SAMCE) are especially made for junior scientists, such as graduates, doctoral students and postdocs, as well as other academic staff active in advanced manufacturing in Switzerland. We also welcome senior master students who want to present their research activities and projects in advanced manufacturing that are related to their master theses.
We are looking for active participants who strive for scientific exchange and who are prepared to share and discuss ideas, to support and to work with colleagues across disciplines and institutions. We are looking for contributions for the following 12 session topics referring either to production technologies or to cross-technology topics:
With our main event we aim to bring together and inspire our community in advanced manufacturing. We have a diverse program with unique modules which are described in more detail on this page. A program will be published soon. Please check our previous events to get an idea about our usual conference program. Registration opens in spring. The participation in SAMCE 2025 is free of charge, but the number of participants is limited. Priority is given to participants who submit a contribution. The following deadlines apply:
PITCH & POSTER For SAMCE 2025 we are looking for active participants that pitch their research ideas and challenges. You can give two kinds of talks:
Each talk lasts 3 minutes. Every session is followed by an EXCHANGE module (30 minutes) where speakers can discuss their pitches with other participants. Speakers are invited to bring posters (optional) to facilitate the discussion during the EXCHANGE module. The different program modules are described in more detail on this page. For your information: A SAMCE pitch is fast-paced and follows the Pecha Kucha format with auto-advancing slides. Please take a look at the presentation file templates below.
