Event Modules

The program of our events combine a number of different modules providing you with inspiring input as well as with possibilities to interact with speakers and other participants. Our SAMCE modules are described below.

CONNECT

Scientists present you a challenge they are currently facing in their research. You can contact them to learn more, to exchange ideas and to support.

DISCUSS

Moderated by young professors and experienced scientists, you discuss in small groups the key success factors of technological breakthroughs.

EXCHANGE

Get in contact with the event's speakers and share your thoughts on presented ideas and research challenges.

IGNITE

Selected scientists present in short pitches how they cross borders and enter unknown territory to develop new cutting-edge technologies.

INSPIRE

A visionary keynote speaker shows you the bigger picture and asks what if. The speaker inspires you to think and act outside the patterns you know already.

MEET

We divide the participants several times randomly into groups of four. This gives you the opportunity to meet many other scientists and expand your network.

Beyond these event modules, we will use in our online events collaborative software tools to enable you to actively participate and to interact with speakers, moderators and other participants, e.g. to visualize the results of the discussions in the parallel breakout rooms or to let you vote on who gave the best IGNITE talk.
